Earlier this month Peggy Singleman host of the PBS show, sat down with Shaun Spencer-Hester Director at the Anne Spencer Museum site to see the garden of poet Anne Spencer.

On the upcoming show viewers will learn about the role Anne spencer played as an advocate for her community but also how the garden inspired her poetry, and she grew to be a refuge for her and others from the outside world which can be very loud.
